NISM certification overview SEBI — regulations

SEBI Research Analyst registration

Primary registrationOngoing supervision

Conducting issuer-specific research distribution to retail and institutional viewers in India ordinarily requires adherence to SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, including registration unless a specific exemption applies.

We maintain documentation of registration renewal, annexures, undertakings, and net-worth/compliance filings as stipulated. Investors may independently verify publicly available filings on regulatory websites.

Corporate registration and licensed personnel are segregated—the authorized individuals sign off analytical work product.
Inspections or administrative actions—if ever applicable—would be communicated as required by statute.

NISM certifications

Research Analyst examContinuous learning

Team members advising on securities research typically obtain National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) certifications appropriate to their role (e.g., Research Analyst). Some roles may require additional modules for derivatives or investment advice depending on activity.

We support annual training on ethics, market abuse prevention, personal account dealing, and cybersecurity hygiene.

Certification alone does not guarantee performance; it demonstrates minimum competency standards.
Employees may hold additional CFA, FRM, or CA credentials—disclosed in author bios when relevant to a report.
